Qais, where history will come alive as you wander along streets that
still bear the marks of chariot wheels. Travel further back in history
to Mt. Nebo, overlooking the Dead Sea, where it is believed that Moses
bade farewell to the tribes of Israel before the crossed the Jordan
River. Byzantine mosaics reached their apex at Madaba, which today
houses fine examples of this subtle, powerful art form. Finally,
journey along the King's Highway to the spectacular pink stone city of
Petra. Spend a full day savoring the archaeological and historical
wonders of this desert city. Continue on to the ethereal landscapes of
Wadi Rum before returning to Amman for your departure.
